Sometimes life feels heavy or confusing. It’s easy to get stuck in your own head, unsure of how to move forward. Talking things through with someone who’s really listening, someone outside your usual circle, can make all the difference.
My approach as an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor draws primarily from person-centred and psychodynamic traditions. This means I believe deeply in your own capacity for growth and healing, while also exploring how past experiences might be shaping present patterns. It’s about holding space for who you are now, whilst gently understanding the threads that connect your story together.
Counselling is a space to pause and breathe. A space where thoughts, feelings, and struggles can be explored without pressure or judgment. At its heart is a relationship built on trust, empathy, and care.
Many people come to counselling during times of change, endings, beginnings, losses, new roles, or crossroads. Others come simply to understand themselves better. There’s no right or wrong reason.
Being heard with kindness can bring powerful shifts. Patterns begin to make sense. Old beliefs start to loosen. New choices feel possible. Even short-term work can lead to greater self-awareness and a sense of ease.
